Where We Fly the W Everyday!!

We are glad you found us, Cubs’ fans. Not only are you fans of the greatest franchise in baseball history, but now you have a place to share that experience with the world.

It’s been a long and winding road for our beloved Cubbies. From the team’s inception into the league in 1876, back in the days when they were just the White Stockings, to the eventual World Champion Cubs in 1907, 1908, and finally 2016.

We had to endure the longest 108 years in sports history, from that damn Billy Goat in 1945, to that damn Black Cat in 1969, to that damn foul ball in 2003. Life as a Cubs fan hasn’t always been easy, but I can assure you it’s been a ton of fun.

Along the way, we all got to witness some of the greatest players in Major League history. Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, Ron Santo, Fergie Jenkins, Greg Maddux, and Ryne Sandberg are just the tip of the iceberg. The players that everyone knows if you will.

We’ve also got to witness some of the most iconic moments in Major League history. For better or worse.

The infamous black cat on the field against the Mets in 1969 that seemingly ended our hopeful season, Bartman in 2003, and who could ever forget Kyle Schwarber’s scoreboard shot against that boring team from down south.

And then there was the smile on Kris Bryant’s face as he scooped up that infield ground ball, and finally, after 108 years of misery, brought every Cubs fan past and present, one of the greatest feelings of their lives. The Cubs, World Champions. Greatness. Finally.

We could fill every page of our site with players like this and moments like this. Which is exactly what we at Cub Baseball plan to do. Bring you ALL of the Chicago Cubs content that we can possibly produce.

From player news to Cubs history to roster news, we have you covered here at Cub Baseball. So hey hey Bleacher Bums and dwellers of the ivy at Wrigley field, stay with us and we will bring you all of the Cubs content that you want, from a team of writers who love this team as much as you do.

And as always, Fly the W.
